Since our belated Chiles Christmas has finally passed, I can finally show you the quilt I made for my wonderful sister-in-law.
It is made from op-shopped vintage sheets and a bright yellow circular tablecloth (a pain in the backside to cut!) and has nice, fluffy Dacron insides.
My favourite colour combos in this quilt are the pink/yellow brights. Contrasted with the neutral brown and cream it makes the brights pop out.
I have no idea what this quilt pattern is but I like it. It certainly makes a change from squares and stripes.
And a bonus: her gift to me was a spotlight voucher! More pretty fabric yay!
Definitely feeling the love this year :)
Wow! It turned out awesome!!! Well done Amy! You and Deb inspire me to no end with quilt making. It's almost time for me to make my own one... :)
